Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate production units per procedures and instructions from Production Engineer/Deputy
• Ensure all operations are performed safely and correctly
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of production units and surrounding areas
• Stay updated with relevant information (e.g., shift information, equipment changes, process documentation, software changes)
• Maintain process log book documentation
• Ensure accurate shift handovers of production units
• Perform firefighting duties and safely shut down the plant in emergencies according to the Emergency Shutdown procedure
• Conduct in-process analysis
• Troubleshoot and initiate corrective measures in collaboration with supervisors, maintaining proper documentation (e.g., equipment changes, process log book)
• Behave safely, not endangering oneself or others
• Report accidents, injuries, near misses, and unsafe conditions/behaviors promptly to the supervisor
• Use Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) as required
• Understand the EHS risks associated with the job, consulting the supervisor and EHS representative if in doubt
• Execute any other tasks assigned by DPE/Production Engineer

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or GCE O/A levels with a proven track record in an automated chemical process plant
• 2-5 years of similar experience in an automated chemical process plant
