Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage end-to-end air freight logistics operations, including planning, booking, and tracking shipments
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with air freight carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners
• Negotiate rates and contracts to secure favorable terms
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and documentation requirements
• Coordinate with customs brokers for smooth shipment clearance
• Work with inventory management to handle inbound and outbound shipments accurately and efficiently
• Monitor and analyze logistics costs, implement cost-saving strategies
• Track and analyze key performance metrics for air freight operations
• Generate reports and provide insights for operational improvements
• Proactively identify and resolve issues or delays in the air freight process
• Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, procurement, customer service, and warehouse teams
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, implement innovative logistics solutions

Requirements:

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
• Strong understanding of air freight logistics processes and regulations
• 2 to 5 years' experience in a similar role, e-shipping experience from air freight companies preferred
• Advanced proficiency in invoicing software: Salesforce, SAP, OMS, and Concur
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
