Job Summary

The HR Executive position is a critical position within the HR team. The incumbent will be a key driver for payroll and benefits administration matters, employee welfare and on/off boarding formalities. He/She will also play a pivotal role in providing day-to-day operational human resource administrative support to the department. This is a developmental role where the incumbent will be provided with excellent opportunities to gain exposure in a wide spectrum of human resource functions.

Responsibilities:

Payroll and Benefits / General HR Administration:

  • Prepare and submit data for monthly payroll processing
  • Partner with HR Shared Services for accurate payroll processing
  • Maintain accurate employee data and update relevant stakeholders
  • Handle work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations
  • Prepare employment agreements and certifications
  • First point of contact for employee benefits/policy inquiries
  • Ensure fair and consistent application of HR policies
  • Propose process improvements and ensure HR compliance
  • Provide data for government surveys
  • Manage third-party payroll partner for contract employees
  • Lead or participate in HR projects

Employee Welfare:

  • Coordinate purchase of gifts/vouchers/hampers/wreaths
  • Liaise with facility management for company transport and canteen management
  • Advise employees on benefits and policies
  • Process and follow up on group insurance claims

Recruitment & Selection:

  • Partner with line managers for end-to-end recruitment needs
  • Ensure recruitment compliance with standard procedures
  • Manage on-boarding process and ensure workplace readiness
  • Facilitate new hire orientation with stakeholders

 

Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree  in HR Management or related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant HR experience
  • Experience in payroll administration through shared services is essential
  • Familiarity with ProSoft system is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Self-motivated, with good time management and learning agility
  • Organized, able to multi-task, and a strong team player
