Product Stewardship Officer (Performance Material/ Contract/ MNC/ Central)

Job Description

→ Work Location: Central/ Working hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm, Mon to Fri
→ 1 Year Contract
→ European Chemical MNC
→ Knowledge of compounding thermoplastics polyurethanes, esp. in environment, health & safety (EHS) topics
→ Candidates without experience are welcomed to apply


Our Client is the world's leading chemical company engaging in the development, manufacturing and sale of a wide range of products for agricultural products and nutrition, colorants and finishing products, chemicals, and plastics and fibers for numerous applications in almost all industries.


Job Responsibilities:

  • SAP Master Data Management - Maintain product BI in SAP, classify product hazard based on classification tools, release Master Safety Datasheet, coordinate DG Classification and coordinate GLM labels
  • Provide Customer Enquiry Support - Support general product safety enquiries, support review customer restricted substance specification & ecolabel, issue product declaration
  • Disclosure of Composition to third parties - customs authorities
  • Handle Chemical Registration - Support new substance notification, GTS Trade Control Block resolution in SAP and DG Block resolution in SAP

 


Job Requirement:

  • Min. Diploma/ Degree in Chemistry or similar
  • At least 1 years of working experience in chemical or similar industry, including some technical work and customer contact. Candidates without experience are welcomed to apply too.
  • Understanding of basic chemistry
  • Knowledge of compounding thermoplastics polyurethanes, esp. in their environment, health & safety (EHS) topics, will be an advantage
  • Knowledge in SAP will be an advantage
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office
