Job Description

Our client is a leading company which specialized in providing cold chain logistics services, construction and maintenance of coldroom facilities.

Job responsibilities:

• Installation of coldroom panels, equipment, doors, machines, wiring and programs to meet specifications.
• Troubleshoot systems to determine causes of operating errors and rectifying the problems.
• Dismantle malfunctioning systems and replace worn or defective equipment.
• Perform mechanical overhauls and refrigerant reclaiming.
• Install expansion and control valves, compressor, condenser and other components in specified locations.
• Able to troubleshoot reefer malfunctions.
• Perform repair and maintenance on malfunction reefer containers.
• Prepare service reports after every completed job for customer's endorsement.
• Keep record of repairs and own job schedules.
• Pick up, deliver and install required materials and supplies as and when required.
• Communicate with clients with regards to problems in equipment and post-job reports.
• Any ad-hoc tasks given by supervisor or management.

Requirements:

• Possess a minimum NITEC certificate in Refrigeration Technology or Electrical Works.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring and mechanical works.
• Job required heavy lifting, climbing and handling of materials.
• Able to speak and write English.
• Class 3 driving license is an advantage, but not necessary.
