Quantity Surveyor (Interior Designing/ Central)
Job Description
Our client is a startup company and specialized in home interiors and renovations platform that connects interior designers & customers.
Responsibilities:
• Preparing own booked gross margin for assigned projects
• Understand drawings(2D/3D) of all disciplines (civil, electrical, plumbing, carpentry etc) and calculate quantities of each line item
• Identify design discrepancies and foresee execution risks
• Validate drawings, BOQ & site
• Add missing line items in the BOQ
• Perform rate analysis for non-standard items
• Finalize BOQ after clarifying design discrepancies and a thorough validation at site
• Prepare BoM for to facilitate the release of Purchase Orders to Labour Contractors/Sub Contractors
• Liaise with customers over renovation plans and creating renovation quotations that comply with profit margins
Requirements:
• Diploma/Degree in relevant field
• At least 2 years of residential interior renovations experience
• Experience in residential projects (Resale Condo/ HDB)
• Good understanding of costing & site execution
• Good communication skills
