Job Description

Roles / Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, write and maintain software Test Plans and Test Cases for GLS Client (front-end) and various GLP products based on Design Specification and Customer Requirements.
• Execute Test Cases / Test Scripts for Front-End (Application and Web) and Software-Embedded systems (Device Firmware application).
• Manage Quality Assurance for the Software (Front-end) and Firmware for Engineering and Product team in accordance to quality standards.
• Manage and maintain the Test Management System (TestLink) which facilitates the software quality assurance.
• Identify, diagnose, track and resolve software bugs and document bug cycle (using JIRA issue and project tracking tool).
• Carry-out regression testing on bug patches and permanent fixes.
• Create test documentation - Test Results, Test/bug Reports and Release Notes
• Create documentation to assist Operations / Tech Support with product installation, configuration and problem diagnosis.

Experience / Requirement:

• Design, develop, write and execute software Test Plans and Test Cases for:
• Web-based applications
• Windows Application
• Software-Embedded systems (Device Firmware application).
• System Integration Testing, Functional Testing, Black-Box Testing, Regression Testing, Back-end Testing, User Acceptance Testing
• Has a strong QA mindset up-to-date with current techniques, trends and technologies
• Has basic electronics background.
• Extensive experience in the following Methodologies: Agile / Scrum / Waterfall
• Tools: JIRA
• Advantage: Automation Testing, SQL
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or relevant field required
• At least 5 years' experience required
