Buyer (East/ 5 days/ Manufacturing MNC)
Job Description
- Manage commodities in area of MRO or spares parts or auxiliary items and assigned projects
- Issue Purchase Order and follow-up with delivery
- Source and negotiate with suppliers for price, delivery and quality requirements
- Coordinate third party logistics for worldwide equipment delivery for new Fab
- Responsible for Supplier Relationship Management, Contract Management and review
- Drive continual cost reduction and continuous process improvement
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to expedite and complete tasks on-time
- Ensure compliance to Company Procurement Strategy and Policies
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma holder with relevant qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge in contract management and shipping terms is preferably
