  • Provide machinery diagnostics services in troubleshooting and resolving machinery issues using vibration diagnostics tools and failure analysis techniques. This includes facilitating and leading root cause analysis (RCA) investigations, issuing failure analysis reports and cost effective recommendations for reliability improvements.
  • Carry out turbo-machinery health and performance assessment and provide assessment reports with recommendations to leadership team.
  • Develop machinery job-packs for large machinery overhauls and train maintenance teams in developing job-packs for small machinery.
  • Lead FMEA development for all critical machinery and provide recommendations to Operations Management Team
  • Lead online Equipment Condition Monitoring (ECM) Program by providing resolutions to ECM alerts and advising site teams on corrective action. Drive ECM Program in creating ECM models for new and existing equipment, optimization of ECM models and capturing and reporting cost savings in ECM program.
  • Lead the "bad actor resolution" program to resolve machinery bad actors, to increase reliability and machinery availability.
  • Provide installation and commission support for new machinery
  • Provide field technical support and supervision in the overhaul of large machinery.
  • Provide machinery training to operation and maintenance personnel as part of machinery awareness. This includes training Machinery Basic Care Program for ownership by both operators and maintenance technicians.
  • Develop machinery-related reliability improvement programs and drive these reliability initiatives with support with plant operation teams.
  • Actively participant in safety programs, promote, and enforce safety rules and good housekeeping methods.
  • Promoted an atmosphere of team spirit through good example, open communication, good listening skills and timely problem resolutions

REQUIREMENTS

  • Possess a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in rotating equipment machinery reliability, troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Technical knowledge and experience in machinery selection, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of large rotating equipment [centrifugal compressors, reciprocating compressors, steam turbine, blower, fans, pumps ].
  • Familiar with API, CGA and EIGA Standards pertaining to machinery used in Air Separation Plants and Hyco Plants.
  • Familiar with machinery vibration diagnostics skills, machinery troubleshooting skills and root cause analysis techniques.
  • Familiar with RCM and FMEA methodology.
  • Strong English verbal and written communications skills is a must with the ability to work across culturally.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound decisions required.
  • Willingness to travel within SE Asia to provide machinery support
