Operations Executive (MNC/ Central/ Up to $2,800)


Job Description

Our client is a Swiss manufacturer of luxury watches.

Responsibilities:

• To assist the sales team in the preparation of sales documents, as well as all other necessary or required shipping documentation.
• To co-ordinate with forwarders on shipment processing, such as packing and despatch of stock to boutiques/retailers, etc. to ensure that stock procedures, proper documentation as well as insurance requirements are adhered to.
• To co-ordinate with forwarders and HQ on shipment processing, packing and ship out of repairs from and to customer Services centre, boutiques and retailers. To ensure that shipping procedures and proper documentation as well as insurance requirements are adhered to.
• To co-ordinate with local and overseas forwarder / despatch for Marketing Events in Singapore and overseas.
• To co-ordinate and manage fieldwork as well as prepare relevant logistics material when necessary.
• To administer and provide relevant documents and information required by our local authority, on a timely manner.
• To keep logistics costs for delivery competitive, in line with outdoor risks compliance set out by the Company and not comprising on timely delivery to the recipients.
• To check incoming shipments and ensure that the physical quantities received tally with the purchase invoices.
• Perform monthly & yearly inventory stock count.
• Ensure a proper and effective filing system is in place.
• Preparing ad-hoc reports when required by management

Requirements:

• Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
• At least 2 years relevant working experience in similar capacity
• Knowledge of shipping documentations
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
