Our client, a diversified manufacturing and service company, has strong leadership positions in control valves products.

Job Summary
The incumbent will be part of the Warehouse team to ensure smooth running of warehousing operations. The incumbent will also perform general warehouse functions such as order picking, packing and system update as well as maintaining of up-to-date and accurate inventory records.

Job Responsibilities:

• Unpack incoming goods received,
• Wrap and pack outgoing goods to customers
• Stock materials or spare parts according to the company's prescribed inventory system
• Make suggestion on efficient utilization of the available storage space in the warehouse
• Perform data entry in Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Practice and maintain good housekeeping habits such as ensuring that warehouse is free of trash and placing of products at correct locations
• Perform physical picking for production/assembly according to the picking list
• Participate in scheduled physical inventory counts/stock taking exercises
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor

Job Requirements:

• Secondary / High school education or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years related work experiences in a similar capacity
• Able to work independently but is also a team player
• Ability to converse in simple English
• Possession of a valid forklift license is a must, Reach-truck operating experience is a plus
• Familiarity with SAP system will be an added advantage
• Physically fit and able to handle moderate physical work as the incumbent will be required to stand for long periods, walk or stoop and do periodic lifting of moderately heavy items (over 20 to 50 pounds)
