Senior Technicians (12 hrs rotating shift / Chemical MNC @ Jurong Island)

Job Description

Objectives and Summary of the Position

To ensure that operation of the AO manufacturing plant and ensure compliance with Environment, Health & Safety (EHS), production and Quality requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

To operate the production units in accordance with the laid down procedures and as instructed by Production Engineer/Deputy
To ensure that all operations are being performed in a safe and correct manner
To maintain the units and surrounding areas, keep production unit areas safe and clean.
To self-update with relevant information: Shift information, temporary equipment charges, process documentation, software changes
To maintain relevant documentation process log book
To drive correct Shift-handovers of production units
In case of emergency, to perform the activities of a Fire fighting brigade member after shutting down the Plant safely as per the Emergency Shutdown procedure.
To perform in-process analysis
To trouble shoot where required, initiates corrective measures in accordance with supervisors and maintain proper documentation trail; temporary equipment change, process log book.
To behave in a way that does not endanger themselves nor other fellow colleagues/persons.
To report all accident, injury, near miss, unsafe conditions and behaviour promptly to immediate supervisor so that remedial action can be taken to eliminate risks.
To use Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and stipulated for the work
To understand the EHS risk associated with their job by reading the respective EHS risk assessment, consult supervisor and EHS representative, if in doubt.
To executive any other jobs assigned by DPE/Production Engineer.

Job Requirement

Chemistry graduate or Diploma or GCE O/A levels with sound proven track record in an automated Chemical process plant.
2-5 years' similar experience in an automated Chemical process plant or minimum
Wiling to work on 12 hours rotating shift

Salary From S$2,800.00 to S$4,000.00
